HK-8510 COD Analyzer is according to HJ/T399-2007 Water quality – Determination of the chemical oxygen demand – Fast digestion-spectrophotometric method. Add a known potassium dichromate solution into the sample, the strong sulfuric acid as the medium, the silver sulfate as the catalyst, and after high temperature digestion, the chemical oxygen demand (COD) can be colorimetrically determined by spectrophotometric method. It can be widely used to measure surface water, underground water, domestic sewage and industrial waste water.
